Enjoy a guided tour of one of the most majestic cathedrals in the world! On this tour, accompanied by a local guide prepared in accordance with the Curia of Venice, you will enjoy a complete visit of this masterpiece of Byzantine art, the only one of its kind in Italy. You will have the pleasure of savouring the splendid golden mosaics and marble stones of the floors, while our guide will explain the biblical scenes depicted, the history and the particularities of this ancient Basilica.

Visit the Terrace of the Basilica with its copies of the famous horses. From this spectacular panoramic position you can admire the most beautiful view of the heart of Venice: St Mark's Square.

Discover also the Museum of St. Mark where you can admire objects of various kinds and origins belonging to the Basilica, including the quadriga of St Mark and the famous horses, which after the last restoration were moved here from the terrace, their original location.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride on the Grand Canal in the area of the Basilica of S. Maria della Salute and on the smaller canals, during which you will have the unique opportunity to be enchanted by the glimpses of the water entrances of palaces such as La Fenice Theatre, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection or the Mozart House.

• The tour for children under the age of 2 is FREE, only if children do not occupy their own seat in the gondola

• Each gondola can accommodate a maximum of 5 people; the seat on board cannot be chosen, but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on the guests' weight.
• Comfortable shoes are suggested 
• For the visit to the basilica, clothing appropriate to the place of worship is required (NO bare legs and shoulders) 
• The gondola itinerary may change in case of wind or bad weather. 
• Pets are not allowed on board the gondola

• Meeting point: Calle Larga dell'Ascension 1257, the meeting point is a brown wooden newsstand with a yellow sign saying "MEETING POINT", in front of the Post Office (Poste Italiane). Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the starting time.

• With St. Mark's Square and the arches of the Correr Museum behind you and the Italian Post Office in front of you, find on your back the brown wooden newsstand with the yellow sign that says "MEETING POINT".

• No penalty for cancellation within 24 hrs before the tour. On line customer service 7 days a week, 9.30 am – 5.30 pm
• The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or exceptionally high/low tide (in these cases it will be rescheduled for the following day or refunded)
