Private excursion to the island of Murano with a personal tour guide by private water taxi.
Murano island is famous worldwide for its glass making art since the 10th century. You will have the unique opportunity to admire some of Venice's best glass craftsmen at work!
Your tour guide will accompany you through the discovery of the techniques of this ancient art, in a tour that includes a demonstration by real glass artisans in a real furnace!
After the glass-making experience, the tour guide will accompany you through the island showing the main historical highlights. If you want, you can also decide to visit the wonderful and unique San Donato's Church (a masterpiece of Venetian architecture), the suggestive Murano's lighthouse or San Peter's Church, a jewel of the Italian Renaissance.

- Comfortable shoes are suggested
- Digital and printed vouchers are accepted (to be shown to staff at the meeting point)
- The boats are completely covered and the tour operates even in case of rain or snow.
Meeting Point
- Meeting Point: Campo San Gallo, San Marco 1093/B, Venice Tours office, close to San Marco Square. Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time.
HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT
- The office is located close to San Marco Square. Having the Basilica of San Marco behind you, stay on the right side of the square and go under the arches. Find Olivetti Museum, turn right passing under the archways, cross the little bridge and go straight on to “Campo San Gallo”, Venice Tours Office is located in the campo (small square).
Cancellation policies
- No penalty for cancellation within 24 hrs before the tour. On line customer service 7 days a week, 9.30 am – 5.30 pm
- The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or exceptionally high/low tide (in these cases it will be rescheduled for the following day or refunded)
